LYNNA GOLDHAR - DIRECTOR

Lynna is a multi-disciplinary artist who has enjoyed an eclectic adventure in the performing arts. Starting out as a dancer, she became an actor, writer, director, and an award winning songwriter. After graduating from Studio 58 and then California Institute of the Arts, she performed extensively throughout Canada and the U.S. both as an actress and a musician. In recent years Lynna has focused most of her attention on raising her three children but she has somehow found time to work on a number of exciting original theatre projects. Lynna has coached and trained many of Vancouver's outstanding young actors and devoted many seasons, performing, writing, and directing theatre and musical theatre for youth. Her television scripts for children have been produced by the CBC. She was commissioned by Arts Umbrella to write and direct the musical GIRLS, which was co-produced by A&E Network. And she is currently working on the sequel.

Lynna is thrilled to be directing CRAZY AND A HALF with the aumentare Actors and the brilliant design team of Michael Schaldemose, Bill Moysey, Lance Cardinal and Jeff Cox and especially excited about her long distance conferences with the playwright D.R. Anderson. Member of CAEA, ACTRA, UBCP

KIRSTI MIKODA - STAGE MANGER

Kirsti has been involved in theatre since her teens. A very busy Stage Manager, Kirsti works on numerous independent theatre projects. On the Board of Directors of Mad Duck Society, Kirsti has assisted stage managed their Julius Ceasar and stage managed their Midsummer Night’s Dream. Kirsti also works on independent films projects, including the award winning See Grace Fly.

MICHAEL SCHALDEMOSE - LIGHTING DESIGNER

Michael received the "Larry Lillo Award for Outstanding Direction". He has also been honored with Jessie Award nominations for "Outstanding Lighting Design" and "Outstanding Set Design".

Michael directed the Shameless Hussy Show Silence at Performance Works. Michael also directed and co-created Bonnie Dangerously. This Hussy Production earned two Jessie Award nominations including "Outstanding Production" and "Best Actor".

Recently, Michael supplied the lighting for Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet at Presentation House, and introduced a lighting design to Charles Ross's One Man Star Wars in Chicago last January. Last February Michael lit his fifth Burnaby Light Opera show at the Shadbolt Centre, The Marriage of Figaro.

Upcoming: Michael will light the stage for The Little Years, his sixth Sea Theatre production. Sea Theatre's On the Open Road earned a Jessie Award nomination for "Outstanding Production".

WILLIAM MOYSEY – SOUND

William Moysey is an award-winning sound designer, writer, composer, performer, musician and foley artist who has worked extensively in theatre, dance, video games, film and television. His designs for live theatre are enigmatic for their dynamics and live use of digital technologies to create cinematic effects in a theatre environment. Recent credits incl: drummer for Dumb Prophets’ ‘Beggars At The Waters Of Immortality’ by W. B. Yeats, sound design for ‘Stiff Cuffs’ by J. D’Aquino & C. Cocek, ‘One Man Star Trek’ pilot by Michael Schaldemose, and actor/drummer for ‘Girl Dreams’ by Donnard MacKenzie. He is currently Head of Sound @ The Centre for Performing Arts in Vancouver. To round out his relentless production schedules, Bill continues developing material and performing with his experimental tap dance company The Extreme Shoe.

LANCE CARDINAL - SET DESIGNER

Lance Cardinal contributes as the founder and creator of CARDINAL Productions and Design and CARDINAL Entertainment. His experience as a Writer, Director, Producer, Set Designer, costume designer, choreographer, performer and artist give him the opportunity to contribute high quality, cutting edge design ideas. His goal is to appeal to the changing expectations of a "media stimulated" mainstream audience, and find new and exciting ways to interpret traditional theatre. Lance has established himself as a competent multidisciplinary creative force and recently served a whole season as Ophidian Entertainment's Production Designer. He recently won an Ovation Award (Outstanding achievement in Vancouver Musical Theatre), picking up Best Set Design for his work on "The Fantasticks", produced by Quintessence Musical Theatre Project. His design concept for Ophidian's Rock concert review, "NRG-Aurum", hit the Centennial Theatre stage with tailored elegance and a rock show attitude. He also found time to fill the roles of Artistic Producer, assistant choreographer, music advisor, web coordinator and performer on that same project. Later that year he provided enchantment and color (Not to mention 19 foot bulrushes) to the critically acclaimed musical "HONK!" at the Arts Club Theatre on Granville Island.

Lance continues to contribute creatively to many local theatre and commercial venues. His influences include: Tim Burton, Jim Henson, Walt Disney and anybody else who brings magic into people's lives. Lance trained four years at the Victoria School for the Visual and Performing Arts. He plans to use that knowledge contributing to the Arts in Vancouver through Design and Live Entertainment. JEFF COX - SET DESIGNER

Jeff, a native of Vancouver, has been actively involved with theatre for the last ten years. His true love affair with the craft began in high school, where he immersed himself in the life of the Arts. Acting, Stage Managing, Writing, Directing, Carpentry, Lighting, and Painting were all in a day's work. He went on to study acting at Douglas College, where he also learned the ins and outs of running a box office. Since then he has been all over the arts, most recently performing at the Fringe festival in "The Complete Idiot's guide to Phone Sex" for which he was also assistant Stage manager. He now contributes as co-founder of Cardinal Productions and Design, also filling the roles of Carpenter, Technical Designer, Scenic Painter, Accountant and one half of the Cardinal Creative Team. He recently won an Ovation Award (Outstanding achievement in Vancouver Musical Theatre), picking up Best Set Design for his work on "The Fantasticks", produced by Quintessence Musical Theatre Project. Jeff has worked with many local professionals and has built a name for himself as a competent and valuable member of any team. He has a very strong artistic vision, and with his almost photographic attention to detail, he plans to expand on the performing arts scene in Vancouver.

ELSA BRESSLER - COSTUME DESIGNER

Elsa has a background in the Visual Arts and recently completed the costuming for Theatre and Film program at Capilano College. She decided that she needed a break from the peace and solitude of the studio and embrace the excitement and mayhem of the theatre. She is thrilled to bits to be working with aumentare productions on their first show.
